I wanted to share how much money I saved on my Target trip today! :) I hope you all have a subscription to the newspaper by now because you can get some really amazing coupons each week. That's where I got the manufacturer coupons I used on my purchase today. (If not My Coupon Habit has the LOWEST prices for Utah newspaper...read here.) I got my Target coupons from here. I used both a manufacturer and Target coupon on every item I purchased (I had no idea that you could do that until about a month ago, isn't that great?!).
Side note: I LOVE that she follows the rules 100%. She even did different transactions at Target, so she didn't use more than one of the same Target coupon in a single transaction. Love that class!
Location: Super Target in Orem, UtahOkay, here's what I did at Target...
- 2 bottles of Aveeno lotion: $2.99 each (regular price). Used $1 Target coupon and $1 manufacturer coupon. Total price: 99 cents
- 3 bottles of Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Nail Polish: $2.04 each (reg price). Used $1 Target coupon and $1 manf. coupon. Total price: 4 cents each!!!
- 2 boxes of Loreal Excellence hair color: $7.94 each (reg price). Used $2 Target coupon and $2 manf. coupon. Total price: $3.94 each!!!
- Eucerine lotion: $4.69 (reg. price). Used $1 Target coupon and $1.50 manf. coupon. Total price: $2.19
- Cover Girl pressed powder: $5.94 (reg. price). Used $1 Target coupon and $1 manf. coupon. Total price: $3.94!
I got 15 cents off for using 3 reusable shopping bags. (LOVE that she used her reusable bags...saves you money while saving the environment at the same time!)
The Target coupons were from the Target website and the manufacturer coupons were from the newspaper.
Grand Total: $17.08 (my total before coupons would have been over $30!)
