I just returned from Smith's with cash in my pocket! I didn't even know this was possible. Remember when I told you to transfer your prescriptions to Smith's bc you get $25 for each prescription you transfer...read here. I transferred two prescriptions.I went to Smith's with all my coupons that expire in the next couple of days. I decided since I have a gift card balance, I would go shopping. When I checked out, the cashier handed me $5 gift card, $3 Catalina off my next purchase, and $25.34 in CASH!
I looked at the cashier completely dumbfounded, and I said, "Why did you just give me cash?"
Cashier said, "Because your coupons put you in the negative."
I said (still VERY confused), "Is the legal?"
Cashier said, "Yes."
I said (not wanting to doing anything illegal), "Can I ask manager to make sure this is okay?"
Cashier (looking at me a little confused): "Sure, but it's okay."
Manager said, "Yup. He's right."
I said, "Are you serious?!?! Thanks!"
